Special subject " Project
Management"
Field
trip to Telekom Austria
On the
28th January 2008 the PM Practice Dialogue has taken place, which is organised
each semester by the PROJEKTMANAGEMENT GROUP
in cooperation with the Telekom Austria. Bernd
Lauer presented the students the Telekom Austria as a process
and project-oriented company with the main focus put on Human Resources
Management.
Also in the next
summer semester 2008 the students of the special subject will have the
possibility to get to know the process and project-oriented company Telekom Austria.
Summer
term 2008
The
next entrance exam for the special subject Project
Management takes place on the 26th
February 2008. Exam literature is Happy Projects! by Roland
Gareis. For additional exam preparation the CD-ROM "pm test- ROLAND GAREIS
Management of the project-oriented Company®"
is available for students at the PROJEKTMANAGEMENT GROUP.

Research and research projects
Pilot: Sectoral Process
& Project
Management
The PROJEKTMANAGEMENT GROUP of
the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration has started the
research project Pilot: Sectoral Process
& Project Management. After having finished the planning phase
the project team is now looking for cooperation partners who are interested to
analyze their process and project management.
Potential cooperation partners are from the sectors ICT, R&D
and hospitals. It is also possible that departments (IT, R&D) participate
in the research project as cooperation partners.

We would
like to invite you to participate in the pm

the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration . Ms. Dagmar

will hold a presentation about „ International

happy projectsґ08 conference PROJECTS &
SALES (29th- 30th May 2008)
The happy projects ґ08 conference , Austria’s
major international pm event , takes place from the 29th to 30th May 2008
in the Tech Gate Vienna, Donau-City-StraЯe 1, 1220 Vienna
already for the 26th time. National and international top speakers
from science and practice will deal with the overall topic PROJECTS & SALES
in presentations, panel discussions, workshops etc.

4. PMUni
PMUni , initiated in July 2007 by the PM G , is an international network of
universities (of applied science) education and research institutions and
process and project-oriented companies with the objective to foster education
and research in process and project management .
The next PMUni Workshop
for PMUni
Partners and new potential partners will take place on the 28th May 2008
in the pre programme of the happy projects’08. Besides
the presentation of the results of the PMUni
project pm education mature there
will be enough time to present and jointly discuss project management-related
education and research with top experts
.

Certificate
program Project & Process management starts in March 2008
In March 2008 the WU
Executive Academy in cooperation with the ROLAND GAREIS CONSULTING (RGC)
organises a two semester certificate program Project & Process management
(held in German). Besides practice-oriented contents the participants will be
prepared for their certification (IPMA or PMI). Please find the schedule as
